Wedding Ceremonies
Booking a wedding is simple with Radiant Gatherings. Each wedding is as unique as the couple who joins together. You may want a quick elopement; a simple, outdoor wedding ceremony or a full-scale ballroom event!
Packages include
- A wedding ceremony planning meeting (via phone, e-mail or in person)
- Writing of wedding ceremony (pre-written; adapted pre-written; or custom)
- Early arrival of wedding officiant
- Filing of marriage license
- High quality copy of your wedding vows
Package Prices
Please call for more information on wedding ceremony packages. I offer reasonable rates for elopements and simple ceremonies as well as basic pre-written ceremonies. I charge an additional $50 for travel outside of the Greater Knoxville area and an additional $100 for rehearsal time. Custom ceremonies require more time to write and edit (and practice). Additional add-on ceremonies such as unity candle, sand ceremony, hand-fasting and other special ceremonies will be considered in the packages.
Simple and elegant:
1. Reserve your wedding date - Call, text or e-mail. I’ll reserve your date on my calendar. I require a 50% deposit to reserve your space. We’ll schedule a meeting via phone, in-person or e-mail to discover what’s most important to you and your fiance for your wedding ceremony. This will help me create the perfect wedding ceremony for you.
2. Wedding Ceremony Editing - After our meeting, I’ll write a draft of the ceremony and send it to you for your review. Make your changes and send it back to me. We will work together to make sure it is just what you want. Custom ceremonies may take somewhat longer (as long as 2-3 weeks) to finalize.
3. Wedding Rehearsal and/or Wedding Day – I will attend the rehearsal when scheduled. On the wedding day, I’ll arrive at your wedding 30-45 minutes early to coordinate with your attendants, go over any last rehearsal notes, make sure the wedding party is doing OK, and get ready for the processional.
As a wedding officiant, I provide the written wedding ceremony and its delivery. Other wedding supplies and materials (such as unity candle, sand, etc) must be provided by you and your family.
4. The Marriage License – It is your responsibility to get the wedding license within the time window allotted, but I will sign and file it. You will receive a copy to keep.

I am an interfaith, nondenominational minister and officiant honoring all traditions and beliefs - religious, spiritual and secular. I earned my Masters of Divinity degree in 2013 from Earlham School of Religion. I am licensed and commissioned to officiate ceremonies by the Federation of Christian Ministries. Additionally I earned 5 units of Association of Clinical Pastoral Education training from the University of Tennessee Medical Center in chaplaincy training.

- Renewal of vows - Couples may wish to renew vows. It is my honor to assist you with writing and performing this ceremony. $100 and up
- Baby or child dedication - When you bring a baby or new child into your life, I am thrilled to be part of your welcome committee. $75 and up
- House or office blessings. Moving into a new house or office is a time of great joy. I would love to be part of your new life. $50 and up
- Pet blessings. I love all kinds of pets - I really mean that - snakes, too! I recognize them as family members. Contact me for more information.
- Pet memorials. Losing a pet is the loss of family and it can be important to acknowledge this loss with a special good-bye. Contact me for more information.
- Funerals and celebrations of life - I offer specialized hospice and hospital chaplain training, and it is my honor to help you create a beautiful, loving remembrance of your loved one. $100 and up
